For more than fourteen years Macedon has produced wines of unique power and refined artistic impression. Since 2007 our mailing list members have rewarded us with praise. Each wine in two to three barrel lots. With a singular focus on Cabernet Sauvignon from the most prestigious vineyards in the Napa Valley. A winemaker who prefers to stay out of the spot light yet he receives the recognition for his commitment to quality and in 2016 received 97+/100 points from Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate “deep purple black…exhibits fantastic harmony, with intense black fruit layers…finishing very long and complex“ The focus is opulent richness while highlighting the seamless nature of ripe Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.2014 marks our seventh release. Previous vintages the Macedon wines were sold-out upon release. In 14’ we increased production to 18 barrels. An extraordinary vintage that showcases rusticity and ripeness. It is a mark in history and the first commercial release outside of a select restaurants and our loyal mailing list. We hope you find enjoyment in our hard work.

Decade continues the trend of deep purple color, an aromatic blueberry and rich forest floor. This styling is the making of well-balanced character and subtlety. On the palate, this Cabernet is flatteringly textured but in this blend, it has taken on a new level of richness. It will stop you in your tracks but in a good way. It should evolve gracefully over the next 10-12 years with positive results.$88

Dense, opaque, purple color with obvious blue fruited extract. The palate is full-bodied with a purity of fruit and classic depth. super-richness and almost overwhelming extract and power. This 100% Cabernet showcases acacia flowers, blackberries, licorice, mocha and dare I say, chocolate, with defined cassis fruit.
